On October 1, Yep Roc Records is proud to share with the world the Mondo Zombie Boogaloo, an album and tour celebrating Halloween, the most sinister day of all. The album is a collection of new music from The Fleshtones, Los Straitjackets, and Southern Culture On The Skids and promises to put any listener in a spooky mood. Including both originals and standards from each band such as “Ghostbusters,” “Goo Goo Muck,” “Haunted Hipster,” and “Que Monstruos Son” (previously known as “The Monster Mash”), a collaborative piece by all three bands, Mondo Zombie Boogaloo is sure to revive both the living and dead this Halloween season.
This album will be issued on CD, digitally, and as a double LP on colored vinyl. The albums cover will feature artwork by Steve Blickenstaff, known famously for his album design work on The Cramps compilation album Bad Music for Bad People. On July 11, we will announce the album, dates for the upcoming tour, and begin a presale from the YStore for a limited number of bundles including t-shirts, posters, albums, and tickets for each show.
