Happy 25th anniversary to Los Straitjackets! The album’s name doesn’t lie, as Los Straitjackets clearly knew their sound from the beginning. Released in 1995 on Upstart Records, the album was recorded at Alex the Great Studios in Nashville, produced by Ben Vaughn (Alan Vega, Alex Chilton, Ween, Nancy Sinatra) and engineered by Brad Jones (Dolly Parton, Josh Rouse, Chuck Prophet). The album features some of Los Straitjackets’ biggest hits, including “Itchy Chicken” and “Fury!”
